Neutral — a faction without a castle
— In addition to the six main factions in the game, there is a neutral faction. It includes all units that do not belong to any of the main factions. It’s worth mentioning separately: neutral faction units directly affect gameplay, and you will quite often control some of them. Below is a list of key neutral units and ways to obtain them.

Sentinel of Glory — one of the strongest units in the game, with high stats and powerful abilities.
How to obtain: find the
object and defeat its guardian 
Worldwatcher .
Starchild — an excellent unit with area ranged attack. Temporarily summon: via the 
Summon Starchild spell from the 
Advanced Nightshade Magic branch.
Primal Remnant — a melee fighter with interesting abilities. Temporarily summon: via the 
Summon Primal Remnant spell from the 
Expert Primal Magic branch.- The
Basic Summon Avatar ability allows summoning a special unit whose stats depend on the hero's 
spell power and 
intelligence.
Another way to obtain neutral units — Chimerologist's Hut. Exchange any number of your troops for a random stack (including neutrals). At the time of the beta, T8 units like 
Lich Dragon were unavailable for rolling.
