Temple — an army-focused faction

Temple is a faction with a very strong emphasis on its army. They have an excellent balanced troop composition: every unit clearly fulfills its specific role. This allows you to play in the simplest and most aggressive way possible — recruit troops on day one and go win even tough battles without diving into complicated mechanics.

Unique Faction Mechanic

Temple's greatest strength is high game tempo. Thanks to the powerful starting army and the exclusive law 6Architect’s MasteryArchitect’s MasteryYou can construct +1 building(s) daily., you can build all three castles up to max creature tiers in just one week.

Strong Heroes

One of the faction's best heroes is Pip:Pip. The castle is heavily focused on tempo and fast play, and Pip's specialization grants very early access to the subskill Civic InnovationCivic Innovation:Civic InnovationThe hero gains +100% Law points. This bonus is doubled if the hero knows “Leadership.” from the starting skill Advanced Insight Advanced Insight . This lets you get the 6Architect’s MasteryArchitect’s MasteryYou can construct +1 building(s) daily. law (build two structures per day) as early as day 3–4.

Additional perks Pip:Pip:

  • Starting spell Early StartEarly Start is useful in early battles
  • Specialization grants a large amount of stats already at early levels
  • Primary stat — intelligenceintelligence → huge mana pool
  • In combination with double construction and high level, you can use Town Portal Town Portal or Dimension Door Dimension Door as early as day 4–5

All together makes Pip:Pip the ideal hero for Temple. Highly recommend trying it out.

Strong Artifacts and Sets for the Faction

Temple has no single set that "wins the game" on its own (morale sets work for almost all factions). But there's one artifact of just Epic rarity that you can realistically grab on day 2 with lucky map generation — that's Shroomwood Bow Shroomwood Bow.

Why it's so good:

  • The faction has a ton of very strong shooters
  • With this bow, Temple play becomes noticeably easier and more carefree

There's also a related set Living Arrows (Shroomwood Bow Shroomwood Bow Light‑and‑Shade Cloak Light‑and‑Shade Cloak Чуткий колчан Чуткий колчан), which is excellent for Sun HeraldSun Herald and AngelAngel .

But, unfortunately, it's almost useless for shooters:
