Dungeon — a Magic-Oriented Faction

Dungeon is the first confirmed faction, distinguished by its strong focus on magic. From the start, it has access to a Level 5 Mage Guild, making this faction one of the most powerful magically right from the beginning. The Dungeon roster includes the hero Zakron the Great:Zakron the Great — previously known as Luna from Heroes of Might and Magic III. Now he belongs to the Dungeon faction and retains his magical orientation. The faction's key unit is the Cave DragonCave Dragon (tier 7), which has full immunity to level 5 magic. Thanks to this, Dungeon gains a unique gameplay centered around the use of the ArmageddonArmageddon spell, once again emphasizing the faction's magical specialization.

Faction ability: Basic Triumvirate’s Strength Basic Triumvirate’s Strength

The faction ability of Dungeon heroes is Triumvirate's Strength. During battle, it allows selecting a bonus to one of three characteristics for one round:

The bonus size depends on the ability level and is +2 / +4 / +6.

Unique Mechanics of Dungeon Units

A distinctive feature of the Dungeon faction is that all its units possess an additional ability, “Combat Stance”, which provides an alternative style of combat.

  • Damage is reduced by 50%.
  • After upgrading the faction laws — only by 25%.
The game also features the artifact Нотный лист Нотный лист, which increases ability damage by 50%, and after upgrading with dust — up to 75%. This artifact is especially effective for Dungeon, as the fully assembled Inner Song set allows the hero not to end their turn after using an ability and attack again.

Types of Unit Abilities — Dungeon

Dungeon unit abilities can be conventionally divided into two types:
  1. Mobile and Tactical Abilities

  2. Area Damage Abilities
    Severely punish the opponent for poor troop positioning

    Allows attacking both in melee and at range through one hex without retaliation.

    Works on the principle of the Harpy from HoMM III: teleports, strikes, and returns to the original hex.

    Attacks two creatures at once per round, dealing up to 150% damage (with upgraded law).
